A game you open for half a minute has to be honest in that half minute
Short-session games are where dark patterns hide best. Thirty seconds of play, then a fifteen-second advert; a score you cannot see the history of unless you unlock statistics; a daily bonus that quietly turns a pastime into an obligation. The maths works out beautifully for everyone except the person holding the phone.
Snapwits keeps the deal simple. You open it, you play a round, you see whether you were faster than last time, and you close it. No advert stands between the tap and the result, no statistic is behind a wall, and nothing in the app can be bought. The only number that moves is yours.
Each test keeps its own history on the device, so improvement over weeks is visible without an account, a login or a sync of any kind.
five quick tests of wit · pet hitrih preizkusov
A collection of quick-fire brain and reflex games, each one a small test of a different mental skill and each daring you to beat your own best. A round takes seconds; the urge to have another go takes considerably longer to wear off.
How long is a fifth of a second, really?
Nothing here measures you — it is the other way round. Choose a duration, press the button, and the panel shows you exactly that long. The number underneath is the real elapsed time, taken from the browser's own clock, so you can see the machine keeping its word.
A blink lasts something like a tenth to a sixth of a second. Most of these tests live in that same neighbourhood, which is why a good round feels like it happened to you rather than because of you.
No timing of your taps, no score, no history and nothing saved — this panel only performs durations. Snapwits does the measuring: four tests, each with its own best and its own trend line, and a fifth waiting in the next build.
